My husband and I lived in Hong Kong for fifteen years and we reared our children there. When the possibility of our son to play college tennis became apparent (only if he trained in the United States) we decided I would return to the U.S. while our children attended high school. Because of his job, my husband remained in Hong Kong. When I returned to Hong Kong, I discovered that my marriage was over. I came to accept this profound loss and excruciatingly painful betrayal by photographing on the streets of Hong Kong for the month.
